Okayy , on a note of self consolation . Felt that I needed to pamper myself , again (??) . And oso , happened to be surfing singtelshop.com when I caught their Midnight Special . Wahaha !! "$30 OFF all phone prices when you shop online from 12AM to 6AM ." Too good an offer to miss right ?! :D Hee ! Hope I didn't make a grave mistake wif my impulse purchase lah . Somebody stopppp me !! Anyway , would be $308 poorer . Lucky bonus coming in June . Eh eh , hopefully got lah . :p

And U know what other crazy thing I did ? Wahaha !! I actually had the phone delivered to my workplace !! *Lol* Not my fault lah . Now not like 2 years ago (when I oso bought my current phone from singtelshop.com) where U gotta go to the singtelshop at The Link to collect your purchase . Now , anything above $50 , singtelshop kindly delivers your purchase to your doorstep . Wahaha ! Aiming for service excellence I guess . Anyway , I'd be working on both the delivery dates available , so , ta-da , it shall be delivered to my workplace loh . Wheee !! 1st I had groceries delivered to my ward , now this . I wonder wat's next ? :p Anyway , not my fault wat . I'll gladly go down to collect my new phone but I didn't really have an option to . Eeee , gotta wait impatiently till NEXT Thursday . Patience !!

Oh well , dinner wif Mdm. Eileen Eng and Vonne on Saturday (06/05/2006) wasn't that nice . Pffft ..! Quite a waste of $ . Did I mention that it was my treat to the both of them 'coz BOTH their birthdays fall in May ? Anyway , the food wasn't great at all , surprisingly a stark contrast from my last visit . And to make matters worse , her royal highness Mdm. Eileen Eng had to be late as usual (!!) , so we were almost left with unsightly remains for dinner . PFFFT ..!! Poor Vonne and I were famished after a hard day's schooling and work respectively but we still gotta wait for her royal highness to arrive 45 minutes late , till our gastric juices got the better of us and we didn't have much of an appetite left to have a proper feast . The best thing is that that sickening tardy woman didn't even show a sign of remorse at her irritating act . Got the cheek somemore , to make me wait at the hotel's lobby , to await her grand arrival , to help pay part of her bloody cab fare !! *Faints* Dunno wat to say liaoz . Am I stoopid or wat ? To always ta-han such nonsense from what I call 'friends' . *Haizz* Dun wanna think about it anymore lah . Juz give her some face , now that she's preggers . Pffft ..!! Guess I must have owed her something in my previous life or wat . Anyway , back to the buffet , the only yummy stuff were the signature Roti Prata , some hot Longan Soup (Cheng Teng wannabe) and the Chocolate Fountain . (Hee ! Dad would love it 'coz it tasted like bitter chocolate . He's crazy over bitter chocolates .) Oh well , there U have it . $105 badly spent . Grrr ... The only consolation was that we had quite a good time talking shit , and that Alvin (Eileen's hubby) sent us home . Well , I think it's only polite for him to do so . To make up for his wife's inconsideration . Bleh !! Whatever .

My first experience at voting just came and went like that . Wheee ! Quite an eye opener . As expected , the PAP won for AMK GRC and most other areas . Winning 82 out of 84 seats in Parliament . But the opposition didn't do that badly also , securing the same 2 seats AND having a generally higher percentage of support . Pweeet ... Never really understood nor interested in politics . Just want : World Peace *said with Miss Universe style* ;D

Discovered a yummy porridge place wif Sis on Sunday (07/05/2006) . Located somewhere in Jalan Kayu . Yummy dishes at reasonable pricing . Was suppose to be my treat to her but ended up sneaky Sis paid . Grrr ... Always doing that . Never got the chance to treat her properly for once . Wahaha !! Maybe she feels indebted to me ? For bullying me heartlessly when we were little . Muahaha !! No lah , not that bad . Anyway , I really do miss her and her crazy antics sometimes but now that she has her own family , we seldom get to have the 'us' time anymore . So Sunday was one of the rare occasions . But it was really a damn precious and comical 2 hours for the both of us . I'll always remember this funny day for the rest of my life and I think Sis would too . Hahaha ! :D
