Caught Memoirs of a Geisha with Sushi yesterday (20/01/2006) night . Nice !! I mean , there was not much of a happy ending but the cast was beautiful and the props and settings were .. like .. wow ! Make me wanna visit Japan and busk in the beautiful scenery myself . *Sighzz* Anyway , as I was saying , the actresses in the show were so pretty , in their gorgeous kimonos .

Can't say much for Zhang Ziyi (Sayuri) except for her lovely but artificial greyish-blue eyes . Cool ! Like what they say in the film , it's like the element of water . And I particularly like the little girl , Suzuka Ohgo , who plays young Chiyo . She's really got potential and she's really pretty . I would die to have a daughter that pretty . WITH the greyish-blue eyes of course ! Haha !!

Then there's Michelle Yeoh (Mameha) , who's like the plainest geisha in the show . Quite unfair 'coz she's quite pretty but she doesn't get to wear superb kimonos , just plain ones and her make-up is not that nice . Hence , lotsa people , including me , thought that she was some 'retired' geisha or some geisha trainer from the trailers that we see . Hehehe !!

Finally , there's the lovely Gong Li (Hatsumomo) . Phew !! I must say she's really so gorgeous , AND bitchy ! Haha . But she appears to be kindda drunk most of the time .

& Ken Watanabe (Mr. Chairman) is the male lead in the movie . Just amazes me that he can maintain his cool , handsome-y looks over the years , while waiting for young Chiyo to grow up . Hahaha !! Maybe Botox & face lifts already existed then ?

Anyway , some characters in the show have really unfortunate screen names . Dr. Crab , Pumpkin , Chairman ??! What sort of names are that ? Hahaha !! The audiences were laughing hard when they heard the names .

By the way , before I caught the movie , I was having driving lessons right ? It was hilarious as usual with Allan . With all his jokes and endless banter . But the best thing was , he allowed me to drive from Ubi to Tampines . So happy !! Really felt as though I've gotten my license already and can legally drive everywhere . Like real only ! Hahaha !! Anyway , we nearly got lost in Pasir Ris 'coz Allan was not that familiar with the roads there . It was damn funny lah , I tell U . Allan was beginning to get worried but we finally got out lah . Imagine , we even drove past Downtown East leh ! Hahaha !! Keep thinking about it and I still wanna laugh . Juz hope that he managed to get out of Tampines after dropping me off at Century Square shopping centre loh . Haiyoh , tat cute old man , ah , really gimme AMI sometimes . :D

Well , 2 hours++ more to go before day 1 of my night shift ends . *Sighzz* Still got 2 more days !! *Wails* I hate night shifts !!
