Phew ... Long tiring day . Heh ! But it was fun & 'educational' . :D

Started the day with a visit to the Ministry of Manpower at Havelock Road . Wow ! Security there is really tight . Gotta exchange our I/Cs for a pass to gain entry into the main building . Kindda inconvenient but I tink it's all for the best . Better safe than sorry . Had some pretty technical lectures by the Occupational Diseases Physicians (or watever they are called) . Really shut off half way 'coz some topics were simply wayyy too dry AND technical . Wat epoxy resins , cement , bla bla bla ... ?? Haha !! Gimme real raisins anytime . :p Piggy me . Anyway , the people there kindly provided us wif yummy tea & lunch . *Burp* :p Really gaining tonnes of excess 'baggage' during this DNC thingy . Can't help it lah . They're always feeding us wif good food & it'll be damn rude to keep turning them down rite ? Already did a couple of times though , but the 'offers' (for good food) juz keep coming & coming & coming ... . :D Haiyahh , can't wait to start losing weight again . Anywayz :

Chipmunk faced me & pretty Irma . Look at my chubby cheeks !! Looked like I stuffed my face silly with gazillions of hazelnuts , ya ?? Eeeew ...!

Monkey-ing around after lunch 'coz our glycemic levels muz have shot sky high after those yummy puffs , teh-tarik & giant packets of Malay rice .

Parting shot before we left for the Yakult Factory . Alamak , didn't manage to catch the "Ministry of" part . Lousy photographer who was most un-willing & unfrenly . Bah ! But ermm , shud be grateful tat we managed to even get a pic in such a high security government building . Usually they wun allow one .

Like wat Nigel said , "Good stuff , cannot bluff ." Haha ! Peeps please be good and take a bottle of Yakult everyday , wokays ? :D Works wonders for your innards apparantly .

In case U're wondering what has a factory visit gotta do wif my course ... . It's 'coz we're supposed to be there to observe how the Occupational Diseases Physician (I really can't remember what they're called lah) makes assessments at factories to ensure the well-being of its workers . Skin wise AND other potential safety aspects . Cool ! Like an auditor huh ? I'd like to be one . After being audited so many times , good to make other people quiver in THEIR pants for a change . Wahaha !! Evil . ;p Especially I've got such sharp eyes and a frank & blunt disposition , the people audited are so so gonna hate me . Wahaha !! Habouring nasty thoughts already . Heh heh heh ... *Evil laugh* Ooops , distracted . Haha . As I was saying , the factory (in Senoko) didn't allow us to take pics , so all I can offer is tat strip of yummy Yakult Light tat I bought , FRESH , from the factory . Actually I bought 2 strips of tat and 1 strip of regular one , but I gave the regular one away to Allan . Old man must have healthy intestines oso mah . Hahaha !! Oh ya , and U know wat was the welcome drink we had when we reached the factory ? U've got it . It's ..... a bottle of Yakult original !!! *Applause* I'm pretty tickled by tat . Haha ! But wat else can U expect man ? A bottle of Coke ? Wahaha !! ;p Anyway , really too bad we're not allowed to snap any pics in the factory . It wud have been fun to share wat we saw wif ya . So cute seeing how they make the bottles , make the Yakult , bottle them & pack them . Unbelievable seeing thousands of little Yakults sailing past our eyes . Haha !! So cute . And we actually got to taste the unsweetened-yet version of Yakult . Eeeew , so creamy (like condensed milk) & sour !! My tongue went like *ZING* for a moment . But it was like kindda shiok after a while . Hahaha !! More suitable to dribble on salads though . Haizzz , wish I can visit other food factories . Especially Cadbury Chocolate factory in Tazmania !!!! OMG !! Sugar daddy !! Where are U again ?? I wanna go for a holiday !! :D

Met up wif Vonne & my dear dear Allan after the factory visit . Missed them tonnes . Always fun going for a spin wif them . The car will be so noisy . Haha ! Didn't drive too good this evening . Lost touch on driving a manual car lah . Oooops . Gotta meet Allan more . But muz have more moolah too before I can meet him more mah . Haiyah , poor Allan is now working for a private driving school , so sad to see him being so 'controlled' . 'Coz he really reminds me of a bird . So used to 'flying free' wif his own car , but now so 'caged up' under the school . But no choice lah . Hahaha !! His old car was as old as him , time to send to the junkyard already , and it wun be practical for him to get a new car 'coz of his age . So the next best ting , juz work for a school till his instructor license expires next year loh . *Sobs* I'll miss driving wif him . But I'll definitely not forget him and will sure 'jio' him out wif Vonne for more makans . Hehehe !

Allan & oinky moi . My all-time favourite Santa . :D Very fatherly loh . Finally got a pic wif him even though I've known him for like 2 years ?? Ha ! 3 of us drove to this nice place at Sembawang Beach (Beaulieu House) for a nice dinner . Serene ambience wif good food & company . Nothing beats tat . Gotta bring Mum & Dad here some day . :D I love discovering good eating places , that are away from the maddening crowd . Hee !

And thanx to Vonne & Allan for such a wonderful time & treat . And special thanx to Vonne for the lovely birthday gift . Love it alot . :D Yippee , more space to put more cards . Wahaha !! :p

Last but not least , gotta present U my naughty little niece . She's damn cute and funny now . Now that she knows how to talk a little , and maybe starting to have a little plotting mind of her own , she's really a clown . JUST LIKE her mum (my sis lah) !! OMG !! Tink I'll die from laughing some day juz watching the 2 of them .

24/10/2006 - See tat clown making monkey faces when I asked her to look at the camera phone . So cheeky !! Haha !! But she IS a monkey , being born in that year . Haha ! Taken after the so-so birthday dinner wif my family at Imperial Treasure restuarant at Ngee Ann City . Service so so , food so so , ambience yucky , but price sky high . Bah ! Can U imagine , Sis gotta pay $72 for a single , lousy sweet & sour fish . OMG ! Plus the other dishes , total bill of $194 !! Not tat we can't afford but I seriously think that it's NOT worth it . Food wasn't fantastic at all . Juz edible and muz include NOT FILLING at all . And can U believe it ? The staff there actually had the atrocity to tell us to leave the restaurant by 6pm 'coz they had to fulfill the dinner table reservations . Wat ??! We also made OUR reservations wat . And we reached there at 4pm+ , wan us to choke on our food due to speed eating , juz to allow them to take in more customers ah ?? WTF !! Uh uh ... We took our time , much to the chagrin of the staff there , who kept shooting dagger glances at us . Ha ! Who ask greedy them not being able to manage their reservations well ? Wahaha !! I dunno but I didn't know such a 'policy' existed . Can ask us to leave by a certain time one meh ?? Bah ! Go rot in hell U idiots ! And bring your reservation books wif U !! :p
