Ahhh ... if only everyday can be like today . Comfortable , lazy , Garfield days ...Heh ! Slept late last nite , so woke up late as well today . Ermm , not really that late lah . Woke up at 8am+ . Did some laundry and tidying of my room & hall as Sis & Baby Niece coming over . Was lazing around reading the papers wif Mum when I had the sudden urge to do some cooking today . :D Hey , I CAN cook , wokays . Not juz instant noodles & fried eggs type , but proper delicious meals , WHEN I'm in the mood , though . *Sheepish* Which is quite rare lah . Anywayz , decided to bake a loaf of bread for Mum . Ahahaha !! As U can tell from the lack of pictures of my creation , it didn't turn out too well . To me at least . Quite yucky actually . Tatz why I dare not post any pics of my 'disaster' . But the funny thing , though (or dough , haha .) , is tat Mum found it D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S . Almost wiping out the entire loaf . :D U know , it's SO hard to gain a compliment from my Mum , so when she does , tat ting muz be really damn good . Wahaha !! Oh well , no comments . Juz hope tat she doesn't get a tummy ache tonite . :p Was still just trying to convince her to throw the balance away . But she vehemently refused , followed by protectively wrapping up watz left and stowing it away safely . Wahaha !! My Mum ... Love her to bits even though she really hurt me many a time . It's so good to be able to see her enjoy a particular food 'coz there's just THAT much she can eat these days . Poor Mum . Due to her multiple ailments , there's really nothing much she can eat nowadays . :( Her gastritis prevents her from eating anything spicy or sour , while her Meniere's Disease (an ENT problem) doesn't allow ANY intake of salt (sodium) . The latter is really so hard to bear 'coz most food contain sodium these days . She's been living wif this horrid problem for around 18 years already and things juz seem to deteriorate further recently 'coz she's getting older maybe . Now really intolerant to even the tiniest amount of sodium . All it takes is juz 1 wrong mouthful and she's ready to spiral into those mad spinning attacks . *Sobs* Really breaks my heart to see her suffer during those times , and listen to how she sometimes wistfully wish that she can juz nibble on her once favourite snack Cheezels again . I know I may appear nonchalent but I really dunno how to help her . I wish I could . I really wish by giving up 15 years or more of my wretched life , I can exchange for the health & happiness of my parents & loved ones & all little creatures on Earth . But no Ranz , things dun work this way . Cannot be lazy and juz wish wish . Gotta put thoughts into actions & do more good deeds to earn some merits for my loved ones .
