Why ?
Heh ! 'Coz my new toy is finally here !! Yippee !! Can't wait to try it out , and can't wait to try Resident Evil 4 out . *Haizzz* Patience . Gotta wait till tomolo (01/04/2006) after work . Grrr ..! Anyway , thanks to Sammy and Matthew for making it all possible . Owe U 2 big time . Muahaha !! Now I can be a good gal and head straight home after work each day . :D Something new to look forward to mah , other than T.V. and internet . Hehehe !! ;p
Also , saw a familiar face today . Hee !! A VERY handsome one at that . Muahaha !! Was the major crush of many nurses back then when he was with my organisation . Wahaha !! Hey ! I found him handsome only lah but I didn't have a crush on him , okay ! I swear !! Muahaha !! He was not only super handsome but also super nice , sweet and skillful . Always treating us to pizza and KFC also . Hah ! Anyway , he STILL is super handsome ! If not , even more a looker than before . But sorry gals , he's taken . Heh . Anyway , he still remembers me and we chatted a little , almost ignoring his Consultant for a moment . Hee ! Distraction = Sinful sinful !! :D *Haizz* Miss the good ol' days where I worked with the Surgical & Orthopedics team . A bunch of fun people . Can be nasty at times lah but still more fun . Hmmm , life is not too bad now lah . Getting used to it . Beggars can't be choosers I guess . Gotta be satisfied with what I have and what comes my way .

Well , woke up at 6am AGAIN earlier on . Gosh ! Is tat my witching hour or wat ?? Bah ! Anyway , it wasn't the rain this time . It was a most bizarre dream ! *Haizz* Damn beautiful but kindda sad (to me) at the same time . Gosh . The last bit tat I dreamt really jolted me awake from my sleep . Thank goodness I didn't dream on to 'see' the ending . Wouldn't have been what I wanted to see , I guess . Ha ! Wat made me dream such a dream sia ?? Was it the heavy dinner I took last night ? Or issit 'coz I'm tinking too much about him ? *Haizz* Watever . I tink it's juz one of my crazy dreams . Crazy enough to make me miss someone lots . *Haizz*
Had a fabulous facial (as usual) by Celine yesterday . She's really good sia . Her skills .. pwah .. superb !! I strongly recommend her sia . Juz don't go on days that I'm going . Haha !! Or rather the hours that I'm going . Gotta have her lah . Bestest !! Anyway , she moved over to Tanjong Pagar and will be permanent there . So , she goes , I go . (Wah leow , like : U jump , I jump sia) Got them to move my records over as well . :p As well as Vonne's and Sushi's . Muahaha !! Sorry guys , I go , U go oso . :D Gosh , busted $197.40 on 2 products , AGAIN . Gotta eat grass from now . Imagine , PS 2 , facial products , and later hair cut and treatment ... Gosh !! Was 'rudely' woken up at around 6am earlier on . By ..... the sound of falling rain . Wheee !! Long time since I heard / saw rainfall around my area ! Hah ! Rushed down to collect my clothing in the balcony . *Haizz* Porky me either wasn't running fast enough on my trotters , or I must have slept through a storm or something , 'coz my clothes WERE drenched . Grrr .. ! Nvm , hope the sun comes up later . Eee , wait ! I kindda like the coolness now , so , nvm , the clothes can go have a spin in the dryer . :D
Went for a yummy-licious pedicure yesterday . Eileen's the best sia !! Got out my in-grown again . And never failing to entertain me with her funny antics . Looking forward to my next session already .
Ahhh ... I love being away from work . For a while at least . Short breaks are times for me to rejuvenate .

Wat's with the air-con ?! Nuts ! It was freezing when I came on duty . Had to tell the maintenance guys to raise the temperature a little , not once but twice . But U know what they did after the second complaint ? They juz conveniently switched the bloody air-conditioning off ! It was okay for a while . Temperature got comfortably comfortable , until I started to feel a little stuffy and the musty smells started to set in . Then , to my horror , I noticed condensation starting to take place on my patients' door panels . Sheesh ..! Made a call to 4455 again , and now , guess what , I'm thrown back to square one , with a freezing ward . Air-con screaming full blast , at -5 degress celsius . Hahaha ! No lah ! But it's that cold okay ??! Brrr ...! Forget it . Some people are just so unhelpful , or should I say , INCOMPETENT !! Blerghh !! How I wish I could throw them into Siberia or some likewise places and when they beg for forgiveness or an extra blanket , I'll throw a tub of ice water on them instead . See how they like it . Muahahah !! *Evil laugh*
Hee !! Can't wait for Sammy to bring me my new toy :
:D Blew $300 to get this with modification . Damn broke but still spending this type of $ . No wonder I'll NEVER have any savings . Like what mum always say about me , "See $ , sure must spend , one ." *Sheepish* Okayyy , promise that this will be my last extravagant purchase . Ermmm , for this month at least ? Muahaha !! *Haizz* Just dunno wat to do with my poor old PS 2 set loh . Was kindda tempted to juz send it for repairs and modifications but it'll still cost me $250 , so , might as well get a new one then . Right right ?? (Self-consoling !!) . Juz kindda pains my heart to think back how I slogged so hard to purchase it at $499 from Harvey Norman when it first came out years back , only to play with it for less than 10 times and then chuck it aside till now when I want to play with it again , it died on me . *Haizz* I guess the lens & set must have grown fungus or something , while waiting patiently in the dark , moist cupboard for it's mistress to bring it out to light again . But alas , she took like 4-5 years to do so , so in it's disappointment , the set just decided to turn asystole . *Sobs* R.I.P. my dear PS 2 . U will be replaced but U won't be forgotten okay ? I promise . Dun laugh lah !! I'm sentimental about such staff okay . Funny meh ?! Hummph ! :p
Anyway , can't believe I'm going through all this trouble & $ just to be able to play this :
Hope it's all worth it lah . Still will get PS 3 when it comes I guess , but at least I got something to keep me occupied till then . Now my poor PS 1 is rotting away also . *Haizz haizz*
Anyway , any good PS 2 games to recommend ?? Neah Sammy , I'm not interested in Spiderman . Good try . Muahaha !! Any others ?

Night Shift Again .....
I hate night shifts !! Everyone sleeping in their comfy beds and I gotta work !

Well , I have . And sometimes I think , Life is juz 1 big joke . U get born into this ugly world , slog your whole life , and in the end , U suffer and die . Let's face it . It's always said as "die peacefully" but how often is that so ? I mean , not many people get the 'luxury' of dying in their sleep . Practically everyone falls damn ill before they pass on . Very sad but true fact . I know better 'coz I see and take care of sick people everyday . (Maybe not on my off days lah !) Really pains my heart to see some of my patients struggling with each breath that they take . Really wish many times that I have the super powers to help ease their pain and sufferings . I know U may say that it's part and parcel of life , but why oh why MUST life be like that ? Can't just things be simpler ? If only when a human's or animal's time on Earth is up , he/she/it juz goes *pooof* and disappears . (Ya ya ! U can start laughing at how silly I am .)
Hmmm... Can't continue . My partner's music is too loud . Can't concentrate . Haha !! My stoopid brain can't focus and think straight when there's distraction around . Grrr... Useless me . So pardon me if this entry has funny English also . Haha !

Feeling Under the Weather .....

Gosh ! Feeling rather sick . Neck & shoulders aching , head 'floating' , eyes blurry . Why's that ?? Grrr... Hate feeling sick . Neah , I guess it's due to the insane weather lately and the lack of proper meals . Eating lotsa junk lately . :p Probably too heaty . And also not receiving my adequate dose of fruits and vegetables and beauty Zzzzzz ..... . *Haizzz* Muz try to get more of those .
Anyway , had a disastrous day at work yesterday morning (12/03/2006) . Shall not elaborate on it 'coz it'll only rekindle my feelings of anger , disappointment and sadness . At myself and some people . Couldn't sleep well last nite 'coz of the horrid shift and I juz wanna put the whole f*cked up day away into some corner of my pig brain . Arghhh ..!! Blood boiling again ! Somebody stop me !

Hi hi !! Been quite a while since I last ranted . Ha ! Busy busy peasy at work lately that's why . Ha ! Gonna be a long update , so BEWARE ...! Muahaha !!
Anyway , shall start with the M.A.A.U. audit . Still dunno the outcome of the audit yet but I think we shud have passed and gotten our license to carry on operating a hospital ba ? If not , we shud have received some lashings from the management by now . So , I guess no news is good news ? Well , this audit was not as bad as the J.C.I.A. one (http://www.jcrinc.com/) last year . I presume itz 'coz this one is just a renewal thingy , whereas the J.C.I.A. one was a totally new introduction . Moreover , the J.C.I.A. one was conducted by overseas auditors while the M.A.A.U. one by locals . So not so stressful loh . But whatever the case , my ward WAS selected to be audited and we did quite okay . Thanks to the efforts of Sister A. especially . She's really the pillar of strength of my ward and oso the reason of me being able to maintain my sanity in this freaking job . Ha ! And thanks for the pizza treat , Sister A. . *Shy* It was a just a dinner consensus Sammy and I had but Sister A. ended up footing the bill . *Haizz*
Anyway , I concluded that it's during these 'audit times' where U really find out which colleagues really stand by U and brave all storms and which ones are just plain cowards . Shall not elaborate on that . No point getting worked up all over again thinking about these losers year after year , audit after audit . Just let things be lah . They can be losers for as long as they like .
Next , I've been such a pig lately ! F*ck ! Eating and eating non-stop . Eating all the junk somemore . Loads and loads of carbos and chocolates . All my comfort food ! Am I depressed or happy ? I also dunno . Hahaha ! But I noticed after I FINALLY got my driving license , I've been eating non-stop sia . So must be due to happiness lah ?! Muahaha !! Better control myself . Don't wanna end up looking like this :
Have U ever had your share of fair-weathered friends ? U know , those who come running to U ONLY when they have problems , or when they need U to help them solve something ? What do U do when U finally realise , "Enough is enough !!" ? U give them your all , U treat them like family and what U get in return ? Nothing ! Nothing nevermind 'coz I truely give unconditionally but some hurtful words and sarcastic remarks which are totally uncalled for really pisses me off . I hate to be taken for a ride , especially by people I THOUGHT I could trust . Maybe it's ALL my fault . It's my own mistake for trusting some people I shouldn't have . So Ranz , face it ! If U've been hurt by some of those so-called 'good friends' , it's your own f*cking fault . That'll teach U not to trust some people so easily anymore . Save your time AND effort AND energy !
Went for an 'excursion' on Tuesday (07/03/2006) . To the Baxter plant in Woodlands . Ha !! It was kindda fun . Reminded me of the good old days in Primary and Secondary school . Where we'll pack lunch boxes and take the comfy air-con coach to some places of interest . Ooops , sorry , last time no air-con coach one . Muahaha !! Anyway , thank goodness the ever crazy Fah was with me . Thank gawd !! She was entertaining me all the way with all her crazy antics and her snide remarks at some particular irritating idiots from certain departments . My gawd !! U really just can't believe how 'sampat' some people are ! From the questions they ask , to the actions they have . Such a shame to our organisation ! To think that Mr. M. just reminded us in the bus to behave ourselves and act professionally , but there they were , embarrassing themselves AND the rest . And to think they're SSNs and NCs level . WTF ?! Let me just cite AN example of their horrendous deeds . After the plant tour , there was a small tea session kindly prepared by the plant's personnel for us . With tea and coffee and some pretty but tiny fruit tarts which were yummy . (Hey , I ate only one lah !) U know what some idiots did ?? They just greedily carted off entire plastic trays of tarts back to their table !! Yup , no doubt that they were sharing it with their group but do U know how unsightly it looked ?! My goodness !! Then what were the plastic forks and plates there for ??! The worst is not over yet ! When we got up the bus in preparation to go back , Fah & I actually saw 1 idiot holding on to a box of the tarts !! My gawd !! She actually had the cheek to 'da-pow' the tarts back to gawd-knows-where . Muahahah !! Really dunno what to say liao . U wanna see a hungry ghost ?! My working place has LOTS of them ! Only that these 'ghosts' are very much alive !! Muahaha !!
Well , Sammy took MC yesterday (08/03/2006) . :( Leaving only me , Noorlina , Eleanor , Aunty Hadijah & Sister A. with 12 patients . Ya ! Seems like 12 is little but wait till U see the TYPE of patients we have . U wun envy us anymore . Muahaha ! Anyway , I juz gotta say that I was pretty pleased with my own performance yesterday . Managed to bring 2 patients for toilet bath and do 2 dressings all by myself , and do 2 other massive dressings with Sister A.'s and Eleanor's help . *Muacks* Thanks guys !! Your assistance really worked wonders . Our patients ended up really nice and clean ! Hee !! Anyway , I hope Sammy's head is much better . And I still stand by my fact , BOOKS ARE BAD FOR HEALTH ! Muahaha !! ;D Sammy's gonna kill me .
