Another Lazy Sunday .....

Day off today . My last day off that I can enjoy lazing around for the WHOLE day . Why ? 'Coz from next week onwards , my ward will be doing one-night shifts . With each night shift , our day off will follow . In other words , I'll have to spend my day offs 'recuperating' from my post night shifts , i.e. : spend my day offs sleeping away . Dunno about U guys but I hate night shifts . Really drains me off my time and energy . Not to mention my skin will suck after night shifts . Muahaha !! At least now with one-night(s) , the damage wun be that bad . Just like night shifts for the $ only , otherwise , no thank you , give me back my bed anytime . :D Sighzzz , can't really bare the thought of not having an ENTIRE day each week to do my stuff anymore . Unless I take an AL or PH that is . Haizzz ...
Anyway , see what I received on Friday (24/02/2006) ?! Yippee !! :D I thought I'd have to wait for 2 weeks plus so I was pretty surprised to receive it so soon . Heh heh !! Delivered by the postman somemore . Yippeee !! Finally !

Very tempted to take motocycle license now . Hehehe !! Cool mah . Will see how it goes . Mum will kill me definitely . :p

Anyway , 2 weeks + juz flew by like that . The XX Olympic Winter Games - Torino 2006 is over liao . *Sobs* Gonna miss seeing the various events , especially the Figure Skating segment . So beautiful and graceful those skaters are . Not to mention good looking .

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT !!! I PASSED my driving test !!! Heee !! Finally my luck is starting to change for the better ? Muahahah !! Somebody pinch me , bite me , whatever . Tell me it's all for real , please !! I PASSED ?! YIPPEE !!! The stars , moon and sun must be smiling down on me yesterday (20/02/2006) . Thank gawd ! Thanks to all my frens ! Thanks to Allan , my instructor ! And thanks to the tester , and the circuit , and the Route 4 ... Muahaha !! I'm going mad . :D Anyway , here goes .

Parking
- Turn steering wheel whilst vehicle is stationary = 2 points X 2 = 4 points
Forward Driving
- Not enough side clearance given to other road users = 8 points

Muahaha !! That's all . 12 points = PASSED . Hehehe !! Can't stop grinning and heaving huge sighs of relief . I guess my fretting for 1 whole week was well worth it ! Ha ! I mean , in exchange for a pass , I could jolly well fret for the whole year . Haha !! What am I saying ? Juz ecstatic lah . I was pretty sure that I'll fail , 'coz of the change of vehicle just 1 week before the test and 'coz I wasn't used to the new car , I was still making 'fatal' mistakes in my last 3 lessons . Even just hours before the test , during 'warm-up' , I was still 'happily' striking kerbs , losing hope as the minutes ticked by . Even Allan was pretty worried about my despondent look and thoughts . I couldn't even be bothered anymore . I was juz speeding around the circuit and routes at unforgivable speed and not caring about side clearance to other vehicles and people ! Gosh ! When I think back , it was scary . As though I was about to lose my mind . I was also telling Allan that since my luck is so bad , I'm sure to get back the same horrid tester who failed me the last time and I'm bound to get the difficult Route 6 or 7 or 8 . But guess what ?! It was ALL the opposite . I got a very nice tester , I got back the same route as my previous test (Route 4) & I didn't strike any kerb nor kill anyone ! Muahaha !! Hee ! Anyway , I guess I was at the right place at the right time . 'Coz quite a few from my group passed . The 15 45 hrs group , on the 20th February 2006 , at Kampong Ubi Comfort Driving Centre . Congratulations to all who passed ya ?! Yippee !

To Allan - Thanks for the constant support and encouragement . Thanks for the never-dying faith U ALWAYS have in me that I'll pass . Thanks for treating me just like your own daughter . Ha ! All your little fatherly actions , from buying me biscuits and banana milk (ha !) , to fetching me from my workplace (even though it's illegal) , to all your crazy jokes , etc.. really warms my heart . So sorry to let U down the first time and I NEARLY did it again yesterday but I managed to redeem myself at the last minute . Anyway , I owe U a big treat . Will bring U out for curry one day okay ? And this is NOT the last you'll hear from me . I'll still be needing U to guide me on expressways and windy roads . Haha !! I'll see U soon . *Hugs*

Oh well , hee , that's my driving test story . Going to get some P-plates soon and paste them on my locker & wardrobe since I got no car . Hahaha !! Happy mah & trying to be funny . Off to meet Sushi later for dinner and facial . Yippee !! Can relax in peace ! :D

Haizzz... When the hell is my bout of bad luck gonna end ??! Oh gawd , why oh why ?! Is this some form of joke or punishment for a loser like me ? My mission in life is to stay invisible and lead a simple life but why is all these happening to me ? Why oh why ...?

My driving test is just next next week (20/02/2006) and I am kindda more prepared for it this round than the previous time (which I failed eventually) . But as fate would allow it , or NOT allow it , can U believe what happened ? When I turned up for lessons yesterday (09/02/2006) , imagine the shock I got , my instructor changed his car !!! To a much newer , cooler and nicer Nissan . My gawd !! I would have been extremely pleased on normal days but this shouldn't be happening 1 week before my f*cking test ! How am I going to get used to the vehicle in 1 freaking week ?! I mean , lotsa concepts and maneuvers gotta be altered . WTF ?! Not that I'm not up for changes but THIS SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING WHEN MY TEST IS IN 1 F*CKING WEEK !! *Sobs* And the best thing is that I don't have much days to play around with next week , to force in more lessons 'coz of my f*cking shift work . I only managed to squeeze in 3 days . Haizzz... I'm definitely going to fail AGAIN ! Imagine the label I gotta carry AGAIN , "Ranz , the 2nd time failure" . My gawd ! The feeling sucks !! I've already wasted lotsa time and $ on learning how to drive , and see where I got to in the end ? Maybe I'm juz not destined to get the license . Maybe God knows that if I got a license , I'd probably kill someone someday , so for the sake of mankind , I'd better not get one . *Sighzz* Really very sad . Got home and bawled my eyes out . Dunno why I'm so affected , but wouldn't U be ? Knowing pretty well that U'll fail ? To me , it's just like a doctor telling me that I've got terminal cancer . No point treating , no hope , just wait to die . It's really that type of feeling U know ? I know it sounds insane and insensitive but it's exactly how I'm feeling , so bite me ! F*ck !

Anyway , please advise me on what I should do ..
1) Just go for it , cross my heart and hope that the skies are on my side and that I'll pass .
2) Go for the 3 lessons and see how . If things get better , as in I'm able to cope , then go for the test . If can't cope , don't even bother to go for the test .
3) Just go for the test and wait to fail .
4) Don't even bother to go for the 3 lessons , nor the test . Just wait for the whole thing to blow over then book a new test date .
5) Give up the dream of driving TOTALLY .

My gawd !! So cool !! I want it !! When issit coming to Singapore ?! *Waah !*

Hee ! Anyway , heard a very happy piece of news today . My favourite hairstylist at Kimage , Ai Lin , has been promoted to Leading Stylist , FINALLY ! I was wondering for a long time , with her excellent skills and capabilities , why isn't she 1 yet ? Hee !! Very happy when I hear deserving people finally getting what they deserve . :D Congratulations , Ai Lin . But , oh well , I gotta part with $10 more when I go for my haircut . :( Hee ! But I think it's worth it loh . Anyway , yup , I'll be going for a cut AGAIN coming Tuesday . Bite me people . Hehehe !! I just trimmed it before CNY and here I am , restless again . Going to cut it real short again . Ha !! Trying to make it as short as Jayla's in the latest season of ANTM (Season 5) . But dunno whether my big , fat , flat face can carry it off or not . I guess not but what the heck , not suitable then juz wait for it to grow back loh . :(

Well , that's what everyone in my ward IS lately . Due to some 'sightings' last weekend by a housekeeper . Apparantly , she's not the first one with strange encounters in my new ward . No wonder we keep wondering why there's no fixed housekeeper for our ward . No one wants to work here ! *Sob* Well , I can't blame them , what . Who wants to work in a place with the supernatural ? But my gawd , it's a hospital U're talking about , so how can don't have , one ? *Haizzz..* As spooked as I am , I gotta carry on working bravely loh . Gotta live harmoniously WITH the phantom . Hee ! Yeah ! I shall call it 'The Phantom' . Or is 'Casper' a better choice ? I mean , they live in their world , and we in ours . We don't disturb them , and hopefully , they won't disturb us as well . I'm pretty cool working with them , as long as they don't appear in front of me , nor behind me , or beside me . As long as I don't see them lah , okay ? Kindda poor souls also , having no place to go . I always think on the sadder aspect , then I won't be so scared . 'Coz if next time I die and also become a wandering spirit , I'll be quite sad if I get chased out by humans . For afterall , spirits were once humans also , I guess . Hehe ! Dunno . Till I become one then I let U people know , k ? :D But one thing is for sure , if I ever become a wandering spirit , I shall haunt the f*cking bitch till the end of her f*cking life ! Ha !! ;>

Anyway , heard that my old ward is facing lotsa complaints and problems lately . Due to the influx of new staff and departure of many experienced ones in a very short period of time . Poor Sister L. is really having a tough time coping with it all . *Sighzz* What can I say ? It'll be mean for me to gloat at this point of time but I really gotta say this . If she had tried harder to make the ward a conducive place to work in and if she had fought harder for her staff , she'll not be facing all this now . Up to U to figure out what I mean . Really just pity the remaining old staff there loh . Kak Wati , Kak Jam , Fah , Maz , Sushi , FQ , FL , Bindhu , Florence , etc .. gotta be strong loh . I guess everything really happens for a reason . Like my transfer , out of the blue leh . When I think back , maybe it's a good thing afterall . Probably God knows what will happen to Ward 16 , and so he hurriedly took stoopid me out before I get CA or hypertension from dealing with the bunch of new staff . Really sia ! With the stories I heard about them , my goodness !! How can such people exist , one ?! Especially in Nursing ?! Haiyoh , really make me fear for my loved ones' lives should they be admitted to a ward with such horrific staff around . I shall not elaborate on their potentially life-threatening errors . Aiyoh !! That's what always spurs me on to do a good and proper job in Nursing . When I think that the patients I'm taking care of may be my loved one , won't I want the best for him / her ? (Hmmm , this sentence sounds funny , but I think U get what I mean lah . Mind not thinking straight and ya lah , my English is going downhill also . :<)

Oh well , sleepy , more another time , k ? :D
