What a tiring 2 days it has been . Did lotsa walking around .
Well , yesterday (11/11/2005) was supposed to be a fun and exciting day . It was Eileen Eng's customary wedding and Vonne and I were invited to be her 'sisters' , a.k.a. the groom's nightmare . Had lotsa fanciful and fun plans but ..... they were not to be .
#1 - Alvin , the groom , came damn late . Supposed to come at 9.30am , in the end he came at 10am+ . Taking things so lightly .
#2 - Alvin and his bunch of brothers were damn un-sporting . Not gentlemanly enough to play our games . Tsk tsk tsk ..... men these days .....
#3 - Eileen's mum had the most disapproving look when she saw the 'food' we prepared to saboh Alvin . Dunno whether she was worried that we will mess up her kitchen or that we'll kill her son-in-law . Auntie , don't worry , missy-s on duty , know CPR , one . And we know what we're doing . Itz your only daughter getting married off , mind you , so if U think your son-in-law can't take some simple 'sour , sweet , bitter & spicy' part and parcel of life , please don't blame anyone if any problems crop up in future . Touch wood lah but I need to get my point across .
#4 - There was this bloody f*#king bitch of an auntie who was nagging non-stop about us saboh-ing Alvin . Kept saying that we're wasting / dragging time by not letting the groom in . And she was saying that we play until mad by feeding the groom such food . Bla..bla..bla... Really felt like yelling "SHUT UP LAH !!" into her face , man . Itz a happy occasion we're talking about here and we don't need your f*#kingly useless verbal contributions , okay ?!!! Maybe she herself had a unhappy or boring marriage with no 'sisters' to help her during the ceremony but don't pass on the unhappiness to your neice lah ! Ha ! I hope the video man filmed her madness and airs it during the dinner on Sunday . See where U going to hide your bitchy face . Ha !
#5 - Thanks to the idiotic auntie , we didn't play lotsa games , which lead to us leaving early , which ended up with us having to hang around in the void deck at the groom's place for about 20 minutes 'coz it was too early to enter the groom's house !!! WTF ?!! Silly right ?! Hurry hurry , in the end ... ?! Huh ! I mean , it was okay for the others lah but imagine Alvin and Eileen , in their suit and gown .... in the smouldering heat ??! Could see Eileen's frustration but she just swallowed it all . I salute her endurance .
Okay , so Vonne and I only accompanied her to the groom's place . Responsibility & purpose completed . We chose not to accompany Eileen back to her maiden home as we got some serious shopping to do , or rather I had some serious shopping to do , and we don't want to see that stoopid auntie again . Ha ! So we left after some lunch and photo taking at Alvin's place . Above are some pictures ....
Anyway , Vonne and I went shopping after that . I was the only one that went home with big bags , small bags . Can U believe it ?! Vonne actually managed NOT to get anything . I could never do that . Go shopping , must surely get something ...
Too tired from shopping to continue ..... will continue again another day . Stay tuned ! Hee !
